One of the key problems with which social science researchers come cross in the Western Balkans is the lack of access to relevant data. The Regional Research Promotion Program (RRPP) has started a pilot-project called the “Data Centre Western Balkans”, which gives access to sets of raw data and research reports published within RRPP research projects.
The database can be accessed here.
The data centre was started in September 2012 by the RRPP, with the financial support of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation. The University of Zurich is coordinating the project in its pilot phase.
